CHURCH NEWS AND OTHER FEATURES
It’s Praying Time
Evangelist Inez Pinckney
Dear hearts, It's praying
time now like never before.
The Bible tells us “thus
watch you therefore and pray
always, that you may be
account worth to escape all
these things that shall come
to pass and to stand before
the son of man."
Prayer is one of a Chris
tian's greats weapons against
sin and evil. Remember our
Lord had to pray to the
Father when he was on earth
in the flesh.
You see, the Lord is
always listening to hear your
prayer, and to answer.
Though the Lord bears long
with you, the answer will
come. Jesus said in Luke
18:1 ’’that men ought always
pray, and not faint."
On this Christian jour
ney you can never give up
praying, especially when
Satan comes in and evil
things begin to happen.
Many churches, homes, and
schools have closed the door
on prayer. Men are calling
good evil, and evil good, and
putting not separating holy,
and profain. The farther man
goes from God, the worse
things get on earth.
Things to shameful to
talk about are now being
published abroad. Isaiah
59:1-2 says, “Behold, the
Lord's, hand is not shortened,
that it cannot save; neither
his ear heavy, that it cannot
hear: But your iniquities
have separated between you
and God, and your sins have
hid his face from you, that he
will not hear.”
On our own we cannot
do anything, but with God
we can do all things by His
grace, though the Holy Spirit
in Jesus' name. Jesus loves
you, and so do I.
