Eleven Black Men of Liberty County
to hold Annual Banquet

The Eleven Black Men Banquet at Club Stewart,
of Liberty County, Inc., will Fort Stewart, Georgia, on
hold its Seventeenth Annual March 19, 2011.
There will be a recep
tion at 6:15 pm followed by
the banquet at 7 pm. Joe B.
Washington, motivational
speaker, educator and author:
"Breaking the Spirit of
Average", will be this year's
banquet speaker.
Tickets are $40 each
and may be purchased from
any of the Eleven Black Men
of Liberty County directors
Tickets must be purchased in
advance of the banquet
Tickets will not be sold at the
door this year.

The Gullah Woman: Her
Voice, Her Vision on

p.m. at Fort Pulaski.
Grant-Baptiste, a
Gullah Griot will skillfully
and magically bring the sto
ries and folklore of the
Gullah women to life.
Attend this performance and
be transported back to a
time where you will be
caught up in the historical
struggles and stories of the
Gullah women of coastal
Georgia and South Carolina.
Grant-Baptiste is the
founder and director of the
YEBO (Youth and Adult
Empowerment through
Building Cultural
Opportunities) initiative.
The YEBO (means "yes" in
Swahili) Initiative has been
nominated for a Governor's
Exemplary Prevention
Program Award for helping
more than 150 Chatham
County families that have
participated in the program.

50 years of service to the

keynote speaker.
The Chapter is
encouraging all Charter and
Associate Members as well
as their families and friends
to attend the event.

as a tribute to our beginning
and a look at our future.”
