Apply for an ABSENTEE BALLOT TODAY! You should request the Application for an Absentee Ballot by mail or fax from
the Voter Registration Office. Call 912-790-1520 for information and instructions. You must submit the Application in time for
your Absentee Ballot to be mailed to you so that you can return your Absentee Ballot to the Voter Registration Office by U.S.
first class mail, or hand-deliver in person, before the close of polls (7:00 p.m.) on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Download the

Theme from The Magnificent
Seven; Leonard Bernstein’s
On the Town, Westside Sto
ry; and many more classic
American favorites.

conference in Columbus, GA
on Sept. 28, 2012. “We be

toric district, restoring street
patterns, creating pedestrian
and bicycle friendly streets,
and continuing to provide ef
fective and efficient automo
bile traffic flow, we continue
to make Savannah a better
place to live, work and play.
This plan is the guiding doc

The study involved
four main areas of focus:
Civic Master Plan, Econom
ic Analysis, Transportation
Analysis, and Implementa
tion Strategy, and included
an extensive public participa
tion process throughout.
The Metropolitan
Planning Commission con
ducted the study and Ellen
Harris served as Project Man
ager. Consultants on the proj
ect included Wilbur Smith
Associates (prime), Sottile &
Sottile, Urban Partners, Grice
and Associates, McMillan
and Associates, and Gilbert
& Lattimore.
Partners in the study included
Chatham County, the City of
Savannah, SDRA and CORE
MPO.
