Mother Lucille Elizabeth Tanks^v
‘ worshiping her Father which 1 1 ™
Before Mother
Tanksley was diagnosed with
breast cancer, she served in
the capacity of a LPN at Me
morial Medical University
for 20+ years. She was the
loving and nurturing mother
of 12 children. She was a
devoted sister to her siblings,
ensuring that all their needs
were met. She was a God
fearing woman and loved
the Lord with all her heart as
she served in many capaci
ties within her church and
community helping others in
need. She was a member of
the James Cleveland Gospel
Music Workshop of America,
the Savannah Community
Choir singing praises and
art in heaven. And after the
diagnosed nothing change,
because she never lost her
praise!
Mother Tanksley
is a big advocate for self-
awareness and support. As
a survivor or co-survivor
she believes that it is equally
important to support others,
not only by reminding them
to have their yearly check
up but go with them for that
moral support.
“Breast cancer did
not change me, but only
strengthen my faith in God
with a testimony for others,
that God is still in the healing
business, as we witness new
