“Which Herb is for What?”
Brighter Day Natural Foods Market is sponsoring
a free lecture, “Which Herb is for What? Examining Herbs
Through a Dual Lens of Traditional Use and Modem Re
search,” on Tuesday, April 4 at the Coastal Georgia Center,
305 Fahm Street in Savannah (behind the Visitor Center),
beginning at 7 p.m. Parking is tree. The speaker, Omar
Cmz, will present the traditional uses of 21 popular herbs
Ayurvedic herbs, in light of modern botanical research. To

The free mammogram screening scheduled from
8:30-3 on Monday, March 27, at the Chatham County
Health Department has been postponed due to some me
chanical issues with equipment. The event will be resched
uled for a later date.

Farm & Gardens Farm Stand
Bethesda Academy Organic Fann and Garden Farm Stand,
9520 Ferguson Avenue, new hours are every Wednesday
from 3-5pm. Items include: fresh produce, seasonal vege
tables, herbs, tree range eggs, a variety of plants, goat milk
soap, firewood and more. In addition, 100 percent grass
fed ground beef in various quantities are available at the
fann stand, which is raised and distributed by Bethesda
Academy’s Cattle & Beef Operation. Specialty cuts are also
available.
100 Women Raise Money For
Non-Profit Organizations
The 100 Women in Savannah group needs your support to
help raise money for local nonprofit organizations. They
meet four times a year for one hour to leam about organiza
tions that need funding assistance. The cost is $ 100/member
each quarter, which goes straight to the selected charities.

Class Of 1968 Meeting
The Sol C. Johnson Class of 1968 will hold their
monthly meeting at Carey Hillard’s, 11111 Abercom Exten
sion, on Saturday, March 11th, April 15th and May 20th at,
3 p.m.
Please come to the meeting to help us plan our
50th Class Reunion. Our 50th Reunion is scheduled for
June 15-17, 2018. We look forward to you will passing the
word around to our class mates who may not know about
our meetings or planned reunion. We need everyone’s help
and input so that we can have a successful and memorable
50th reunion.
