With at least two former

among their membership,
the Perry Kiwanis Club has

Kiwanian Felix Smith

FFA Convention and about
student motivation to do
their best.
Especially important to
Claxton is the character

activities.
Though most students
won’t end up as farmers,
Claxton feels the knowl
edge they gain will give
them a healthy apprecia
tion for food production
and processing. Whatever
they do in adult life will be
impacted by their experi
ence in FFA at Perry High
School.
Claxton was STAR
teacher at Perry High three
years ago and is chairman
of the agriculture depart
ment.
Kiwanis President Jo
