National Day of Prayer observance set for
May 6 at Perry City Hall conference room

Residents of Perry will
Join other citizens across
the country on May 6 for
the 48th Annual National
Day of Prayer.
Perry's service will be
held from noon to 12:30
p.m. in the Perry City Hall
Conference room and will
also be broadcast live over
WCOP 1350 AM and WAFI
99.9 FM.
According to the Rev.
Keith C. Ivey, pastor of
Rehoboth Baptist Church,
the service will be interde
nominational.
There will be a brief pro
gram with an address by
Sherrill Stafford, who is
chairman of the Houston
County Commission and an

classes in the latest hair
styles in Savannah and
Macon.

on May 5 to pray specifical
ly for President Clinton,
and on May 6, the task
force will hold a prayer
gathering in the House
