fact that the whereabouts of the father,
Calvin Lee Gibson, is unknown and that
service upon Calvin Lee Gibson of the
petition cannot otherwise effectuated
and it appearing to the Court that Calvin
Lee Gibson can best be appnsed of the
pendency of this action by publication of
this order in a newspaper.
It is hereby ordered that a hearing
on the petition to determine and to ter
minate the parental rights of Calvin
Lee Gibson will be held on Wednes
day, November 17, 1999, at 11:15
a.m., before the Honorable Mark D.
Wickens in the Lake County Probate

The smell of grease paint
and victory mixes in the air
at Perry High. The school
One Act Play brought home
the awards during the Nov.
10 Regional One Act Play
for its strong performance
of “Pippin.”
The next step for the cast
will be state competition on
Nov. 20 at Northside High
in Warner Robins.
The cast of the One Act
Play won three First Place
Awards during the region
competition. The perfor
mance won first place.
Michael Walenceus
received Best Actor for his
portrayal of the character
Charlemange, and Megan
Strandburg received Best
Actress for her perfor
mance as the leading play
er.
Perry High School The
atrical Director Joe Sendek
said, “We won everything
they had to offer. We had a
great day and we did a ter
rific job."
Sendek previously said
he chose “Pippin” for two
reasons. One, it is a good
story with plenty of areas to
showcase singing, dancing,
and acting, and this was
the first show Sendek did
as Perry' High student in
his own One Act Play.
The 40-member cast is
filled with many talented
students. The lead actors
with their parts are Megan
Strandburg, Leading Play
er; Brett Copeland, Pippin:
