Georgia is a well known
moniker for the city of Perry.
Starting on Friday, a better
description would be the cross

Georgia National Fairgrounds
to compete in the Fifth Annual
Perry Invitational meet.
“It’s a headache to put

that makes it worth it all.”
According to Moss, 500 to 600

WARNER ROBINS - With
the Bear Brawl holiday tourna

both the Houston County boys
and girls were looking to go in
on a strong note against
Stockbridge in a rare Monday
night encounter.
Both teams achieved their
goals but took much different
paths.
While the Lady Bears pulled
away in the third quarter and
never was seriously challenged
in a 47-33 win, the Bears had to
hold off a furious fourth quar
ter threat for a 76-70 victory to
complete the sweep in the
Region 2AAAAA matchups.
With the wins, the Houston
County girls improve to 5-1
overall and 5-0 in the region as
the boys go to 5-1 overall and 4-
1 in the region.
