Warner Robins firefighters are repainting over 1,000 fire hydrants around the city.
Braving the rising temperatures on Houston Road are (clockwise from far left) fire
fighters Jim George and Jerry Eddy and (kneeling) engineer Gary Bohannon from
Station 4 on Carl Vinson Parkway. The hometown heroes apply a fresh coat of paint on
the hydrants every four years and perform maintenance on the hydrants every two
years.
