Saturday, May 14
• The 13th annual National
Association of Letter Carriers
Food Drive, the largest one-day
food drive in the nation will be
held. Letter carriers will collect
non-perishable food donations
left by mailboxes and in post
offices and deliver them to local
community food banks, pantries
and shelters. All citizens need to
do is to place a box or can of non
perishable food next to their mail
box before their letter carrier
delivers mail.
• Happy Hour Workshop will
host an indoor yard sale at
Workshop 11, 716 N. Young Ave.,
Warner Robins, from 8 a.m. until
1 p.m. All proceeds benefit the
developmentally challenged.
• The Navy Seabee Veterans
of America will hold its monthly
meeting. All Seabee veterans are
invited to attend. Wives are
included. The Seabees' meeting
is held the second Saturday of

LILLIAN LOCKE HARMON
PERRY - Lillian Locke Harmon, 93, died Monday May 9,
2005. Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday
(TODAY) at Memorial Heights Baptist Church, with inter
ment following at Perry Memorial Gardens. Elders Randy
Rosbrook, Gordon Buchanan and Olen Hamlin will offici
ate. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Watson-Hunt
Funeral Home. The family suggests contributions to
Memorial Heights Baptist Church.
Born in Taylor County, Harmon was the daughter of the
late Leonard and Mattie (Bivins) Locke. Before moving to
Perry, she helped manage Tom’s Case with her husband in
Butler. She had lived in Perry since 1954. At Memorial
Heights Baptist Church, where her husband was pastor, she
had 40+ years perfect attendance.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lynn Nunalee of
Wellborn, Fla.; granchildren, Joey Mann of Perry, Angela
Kunkle of Wellborn, Fla., Frank Nunnalee of Birmingham,
Ala., and Connie Andrew of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Montine
Ritter of Taylor County; nine great-grandchildren and six
great-great-grancdhildren. She was preceded in death by
her husband, the Rev. Tom Harmon and a daughter, Shirley
Mann.

FRANCES HAYES
UNADILLA - Frances Hayes, 71, died Sunday May 8,
2005, in a Macon hospital. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m.
Wednesday, May 11, 2005 (TODAY), in the chapel at
Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry with interment fol
lowing in Andersonville Cemetery. Visitation was from 6-8
p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Hayes, born in Barco, N.C., had resided here for six years,
and was formerly of Perry since 1969. She was a homemak
er, preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Hayes.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Hayes; chil
dren: Ricky L. Hayes (Jeanne) of Gulf Breeze, Fla., David L.
Hayes of Warner Robins, Charlotte Haynes (John) of Perry,
Patricia Irene Sizemore (Randall) of Chickamauga; broth
ers, Jack Beasley of Virginia Beach, Fla., and Ed White
(Brenda) of Perry; and four grandchildren.

EVELYN S. ROSENBURG
WARNER ROBINS - Evelyn S. Rosenburg, 90, of Warner
Robins died Sunday, May 8, 2005. Funeral services will be
held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (TODAY) in the chapel of
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in
Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Sydney Odom will officiate.
Rosenburg, a native of Quitman, was the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Robert O. Swift. She was a member of
First Baptist Church and operated Evelyn’s dress store in
Warner Robins for many years.
Survivors include her brother Robert Swift of Austin,
Texas; and faithful friend, Frances Bedsole of Kathleen.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home.

Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA
31088.

White, a lifelong resident of Houston H jlgj
County, worked for the Houston County 1+ MKm
Water Department. He was a member of 1,,,
the Haynesville First Baptist Church.
Jeremy died doing what he loved best,
hog hunting. Jeremy lived life in his own style during his
short 24 years, J. White Style. He loved to hunt, fish, play
softball and most of all spending time with family and
friends. He loved babies and dogs and always took up for the
underdog. Everyone knew Jeremy was there for them and
he would “have their back.” Jeremy knew that God was
waiting for him and he is in Heaven waiting on us.
Survivors include his parents: Carolyn White of Warner
Robins, Jimmie E. White of Haynesville, Clarence Jordan of
Macon; siblings: Caleb White, Jesse White and Jennah
White, all of Perry; fiancee, Hillary Wilkins of Warner
Robins; half-siblings: Jared Jordan, Destiny Jordan, Brooke
Jordan and Savannah Jordan, all of Macon; grandparents:
Pat Huggins of Navarre, Fla., Calvin (Myra) Huggins Sr. of
Eastman, Margaret Jackson of Byron and Pearl White of
Warner Robins.
The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home.
