PAULINE “POLLY"" MARIE KESSLER HOFFMAN
TALLADEGA, Ala. - Pauline “Polly”
Hoffman, 85, passed away on Tuesday,
June 28, 2005, at Clay County Nursing
Home in Ashland, Ala. Services will be
held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2005, in
the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home,
with interment following in Magnolia
Park Cemetery. Visitation was from 7
until 9 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2005, at
McCullough Funeral Home.
Hoffman was born on Oct. 24, 1919, at
Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Ala., to the late Clyde and
Johnny Agnes Priest Kessler. She was a member of Green
Acres Baptist Church and retired from Robins Air Force
Base. Her husband, George E. Hoffman Sr., and beloved step
son, George E. Hoffman Jr., preceded her in death.
She did not have any natural children but she loved and is
survived by stepson, John Hoffman (Kim) of Missouri; step
daughter, Dr. Francina Hoffman of Missouri; adopted daugh
ter and son-in-law, Gale and Carlton Crim of Talladega, Ala.;
adopted grandchildren, Leah Hoffman and Erica Hinson of
Missouri; Jon Hill, Michael Hill (Allison) and Stephanie
Stuckey, of Tallassee, Ala., Barbara Starr (Benjamin) of Sand
Springs, Okla., Lashawnda Tipton and Cody Crim of Odessa,
Texas; nine great-grandchildren; and several friends. All
were blessed by her friendship and love.

WARNER ROBINS - D.W. “Dee” Stotts, 89, passed away
Wednesday, June 29, 2005, in Perry. A memorial service was
held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial
Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Visitation was from
6:30 p.m. until service time at 7:30 p.m.
Stotts was born in Okemah, Okla., to the late John Duke
and Bertha Mae Schillings Stotts. He was retired from the
Boise Cascade Lumber Company in Medford, Ore., and was
of the Baptist faith. His most enjoyable times were working
with his many cattle on his ranch in Oregon.
Survivors include his wife Mary Woolsey Stotts of Warner
Robins; daughters, Barbara Kosinski of Fresno, Calif., and
Linda Derrickson of Stockton, Calif., Mary Ann Nicassio of
Clovis, Calif.; sisters, Doris White and Ethel Williams, both of
Oklahoma City, Okla., Virginia Hartley of Frendale, Wash.,
Ola Lee of Onalaska, Texas; stepchildren, Dwayne Woolsey of
Carrollton, and Kelli Proctor of Warner Robins; many grand
children, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Summerhill Elderliving Home, Alzheimer’s Wing 800 Hall at
500 Stanley St., Perry, GA 31069 in memory of Mr. Stotts.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrange
ments.

WRPD names three suspects in two
incidents - and arrests another

Warner Robins Police
have identified two suspects
in the June 23 armed rob
bery at the Russell Parkway
Kroger, arrested one and
identified another in the
May 31 shooting on N.
Davis Drive.
Arrest warrants have
been issued for Ladontae
Rashad Robertson and
Wendell Lamar Hebreard
for their alleged involve
ment in the June 23 armed
robbery in the parking lot of
the Russell Parkway
Kroger. According to police,
one of the suspects pro
duced a handgun and
demanded the victim’s
purse, which she relin
quished.
Both suspects fled the
area on foot last seen travel
ing east toward Moody
Road. The victim did not
sustain any injuries during
the incident.
Warrants have been
issued on Robertson for
armed robbery and posses
sion of a firearm during the
commission of a crime.
Robertson, 17, 408 Madison
Place Parkway, Byron, is 5
foot 8, and 135 lbs.
The warrant on Hebreard
is for party to the crime of
armed robbery. Hebreard,
17, 109 Maxwell Drive, Lot
#4, Warner Robins, is 5 foot
11, and 155 lbs.

OBITUARIES
LADONTAE ROBERTSON
On Thursday, police
arrested Tobias Marquez
Sims in connection with the
May 31 shooting on North
Davis and Ignico drives. The
victims told police that
while stopped at the red
light, a white SUV pulled
into the Marathon station,
and the rear seat passenger
pointed a silver revolver at
them and began shooting.
The suspect’s vehicle fol
lowed the victims down
Ignico and fired several
more shots.
They recognized the driv
er as someone known only
as “T-Rock.” Sims, aka “T-
Rock,” was charged with
two counts of party to the
crime of aggravated assault
and was arrested without
incident on Thursday.
Police identified a second
suspect, Melvin Lamar
Davis, 32, in the shooting
and took out warrants for
against him for two counts
of aggravated assault.

the location of Davis is
