The Perry basketball
team finished its sum
mer program at the end
of June.
During the month the
Panthers attended two
Mercer University camps
and finished with a camp
at the University of
Georgia.
“I took three teams to
the Mercer camps," said
Perry head coach Brett
Hardy. "That’s the first
time (we've done that). We
had a lot of participation.
Only the varsity attended
the UGA camp.”
Hardy has to replace
three seniors including
standout Tarvis Billings.
“From a scoring stand
point, it will be difficult
to replace Tarvis,” Hardy
said.
He said that junior Eric
Askew had a good camp.
“Eric did a lot of
rebounding for us and

but Eric did a good job. I
think he’s going to have a

Askew wasn’t the only
Panther to have a good
summer.
Hardy mentioned the
performances of senior
Casey Hayward and soph

“He ‘s going to be a post
player,” Hardy said of
Felder. “I thought he had
another year to go before
varsity, but he makes
things happen because he
hustles and gets after it.”
Hayward showed great
leadership in the camps
Hardy added.
“He just kind of took a
leadership role,” he said.
“He wasn’t vocal, he just
established himself as a
starter. I was pleased with
how he ran the team.”

I’m a sucker for a

Warner Robins

an excellent one.

According to Schnable,
the girl kept a journal
at that online address
to tell family members
and friends how she was

“I stayed on the site
all day,” Schnable said. “I
cried all day.”
From that experience,
Schnable got the idea to

She has gotten started
by contacting Mike Creech
