Perry Farmers’ Market
open every Saturday

We husbands try to be as helpful to our
wives as we can.
If they ask for our help, we try our best to
be as competent as possible.
She says “The toilet is leaking!” We know
the number of the plumber.
She says “The light bulb blew!” We know
the number of the electrician.
But sometimes she asks for something
that is altogether outside of our competence
level. Then we kind of melt into a puddle of
goo and have to ask for help from the gods.
Friday night, I told Glenda that I had to go
to the Perry Farmers’ Market the next
morning and take some pictures, and asked
if she wanted to go dong. “No,” she said,
“I’m going to tour the yard sales, but you
can pick something up for me.”
