Bad boys - whatcha gonna do when the dog conies for you?

Evan Carl Brown, 17, 115
Karen Drive, Warner Robins,
was arrested July 5 on two
counts of disorderly conduct -
one for obstruction of an officer
and one of interference with the
occupation of another
He and some friends are
reportedly banned from the
Family Dollar Store on Russell
Parkway but returned to the
store and would not leave when
told to do so by the manager
The responding officer found the
six teens on bikes outside the
store and told them to come
back Some reportedly said
“Who me?” while others grabbed
their crotch in a manner of disre
spect As they returned as com
manded two reportedly rode
their bikes at the officer. “Their
general disrespect and non
compliance of reason” resulted
in the officer releasing his canine
partner, Arno, from his side.
The group as a whole calmed
down after that, with one male
reportedly being troublesome.
He would reportedly not stop
talking and was finally told to
shut up. Most were dressed all in
black, some with black and
green bandanas "hanging flag
ging" from back pockets.
Brown reportedly continued
not to comply, make rude com
ments and made threats of his
mother having the officer's job.
At his request, his mother was
called to the scene.
The store manager only had
issue with two of the teens, and
four were let go. While trying to
talk with Brown’s mother, the
son reportedly kept interfering
with the discussion and based
on his behavior was placed
under arrest for interference with
occupation and taken to police
headquarters for processing.
The store clerk reportedly told
the officer and Brown’s mother
she told them to leave and
offered to escort each one sepa
rately to shop, but the two
walked past her. At headquar
ters police reportedly discovered
Brown had given a false name of
Edward Carl Brown.

No-show picked up
Felicia Renae Byrd, 43, 822
Perimeter Circle, Apt. 19A,
Perry, was arrested Monday on
a bench warrant from Superior
Court for failure to appear on
original charges of possession
of schedule l-ll drugs and solici
tation of sodomy. There is a hold
for her from Coweta County for
an open warrant for violation of
probation.

Man dies

A Gordon man died in a
single-vehicle wreck
Tuesday afternoon on
Interstate 75.
According to Trooper
Krystal Folds of the Georgia
State Patrol, the tire blew
on a small pickup, the truck
overturned and ejected the
driver south of Exit 134 at

Target prosecutes
shoplifters
Judson Holland, 17, 107 Third
St., Bonaire, was arrested
Monday on charges of theft by
shoplifting at Target. Police
allege he was attempting to
leave the store with an item on
his person without rendering
payment The item, a DVD of the
movie “White Noise," was in the
front of his shorts and was
retrieved and retained by the
store security, who stopped him
at the door and escorted him to
the security office, making a citi
zen’s arrest then calling police.
Gettfei' Jiggy
On Monday a woman a report
ed a man known to her only as
“Jiggy" pulled on her locked car
door, breaking it off. He reported
asked her "Did you get my gold
teeth?” before pulling on the
door handle of her car, in which
she was sitting. He offered to
pay for the damage, left her a
phone number and left in a taxi.
Stolen car recovered
Deputies found a burned out
car at the intersection of Seven
Oaks Court and Silver Burch
Lane around 6:30 Monday. The
owner was contacted about 2
a m. the following day. He was
not aware the silver Mitsubishi
was missing from his driveway
and still had the keys. He said
the car was left secured in his
driveway.
Unwanted person
and a stolen truck
On Monday, police responded
to a Terry Kay Circle residence
regarding an unwanted person,
who had departed the scene.
The officer recognized a vehicle
reported as stolen in the drive
way. The complainant said she
had recovered the vehicle with
an unknown deputy on Dover
Court on Friday. She said he
would seek warrants for the
arrest of the known unwanted
person for stealing the truck.
The vehicle was taken off the
stolen list.
Vandals visit
Lake Joy Elementary
Between Friday and Monday,
person(s) unknown damaged
several portable classrooms at
Lake Joy Elementary School, six
windows were broken on entry
doors and the doors had holes
from being struck with a bat or
metal pole. All of the buildings
were empty but appeared to
have been entered, and a fire
extinguisher removed. It was
later found in the mud with the
pin removed but still charged. It
was left with school personnel to
be recharged, as “there was a
great chance that the extinguish
in 1-75 wreck
about 2:36 p.m., closing
lanes in the north and
southbound lanes.
The truck was filled with
watermelons, peaches and
sweet potatoes.

knocked over a Thompson Mill
Road brick mailbox, leaving blue
paint chips on the bricks; painted
“Carious the thief and “crack
dealer” in white paint on the vic
tim’s red truck parked in her
driveway on Surrey Drive. It
looked as if it was done with
spray paint and stencil.
Also Monday, a woman report
ed her purse stolen from her
unlocked van at the Pilot truck
stop on Watson Boulevard. She
reported got out and locked her
four children inside. They also
exited to follow and reportedly
did not lock the doors.
Not so neighborly
A Madrid Street resident
reported that every day since
reporting two pit bull terrier pup
pies stolen on June 29, some
one has come by his home and
knocked over his mailbox and
garbage can. He could not iden
tify any suspects on the stolen
puppies or the mailbox, but said
he got the adult dog from the city
pound for free. He was also pre
viously charged with discharging
a firearm and reckless conduct
for reportedly shooting a hand
gun in the air to disperse a
crowd of mostly children from in
front of his residence after a dis
pute over ownership of the adult
pit bull terrier with a neighbor.
Spree of entering autos
Between Sunday and
Monday, person(s) unknown
entered several locked and
unlocked cars on Ashston Drive,
Esterline Drive and Crystal
Court. In some cases cars were
just rummaged through but noth
ing was taken, in other incidents
items taken included CD radios,
CDs, a cell phone, a Game Boy
and cash from a purse that was
dumped out. Also taken was a
shotgun, a DVD player and a
four 22” rims and tires valued at
$254, S9OO and $1,400, respec
tively were stole from a locked

Oakdale Drive after person(s)
unknown broke the passenger
side window to get in. Anyone
with information is asked to con
tact the Houston County
Sheriff’s Office.

On Monday, a woman at the
Goodwill store on Moody Road
in Warner Robins reported a
man in the dressing room next to
her jumped up to look over the
wall at her while she was
undressed. The man, who is 6-
foot-7, said his friend said some
one they knew was in the store
and he jumped up to see that it
was - not to look at the woman
in the next dressing room.
Another witness said the two
men were playing around but
she did not see the man peep at
the woman. The woman was
advised on how to seek her own
warrants.

Monday. An officer who report
edly heard loud music coming
from a white Ford Explorer
stopped him on Watson
Boulevard. The driver’s license
came back suspended and a
search of the vehicle reportedly
turned up a clear plastic baggy
containing a green, leafy sub
stance in the center console.
The substance reportedly field
tested positive for marijuana and
Court was cited for loud music,
driving on a suspended license
and possession of less than one
ounce of marijuana.

Lydick Ave., Warner Robins was
arrested for possession of mari
juana-less than one ounce fol
lowing a traffic stop of the car he
was riding in. The car was
reported stopped for failure to
maintain lane on Watson
Boulevard on Tuesday about
1:20 a m. The officer made con
tact and got consent to search
the car and located two small
jeweler’s bags containing a
green leafy substance under the
passenger side floor mat. The
passenger reportedly admitted
the “weed belonged to him.” The
contents of the bags tested pos
itive for THC content. The driver
of the car had no license and left
in a taxicab. The owner of the
car could not be contacted so
