able to take part in 3-on-3 bas
ketball, Run Drugs Out Of Town
5K race, and a keynote speaker
will address the importance of
education. Information will be
presented on community
resources for assisting and
maintaining the safety and well
being of children and their fami
lies. Event is sponsored by the

and the City of Refuge Uplifting
Boys to Men, and co-sponsored

MARGARET WYNELL BURNS
WARNER ROBINS - Margaret Wvnell Burns, 79, passed
away on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at Houston Medical
Center. Services will be held at noon Saturday, July 23,
2005, at Warner Robins Church of Christ with interment
following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation was
from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2005, at McCullough
Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests dona
tions be made to Warner Robins Church of Christ, 1947
Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31093. .
Bums was bom in Rattan, Texas, on March 12, 1926, to
the late Gilbert and Ada Gough. She was a member of
Warner Robins Church of Christ. Her daughter, Rebecca
Bums; three brothers and one sister, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Burns, Warner
Robins; several nieces and nephews.

HAYNESVILLE - Mary Alice Catlett, 76, died in
Hawkinsville on Wednesday, July 21, 2005. Funeral servic
es will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of
Haynesville with the Rev. David Fisher officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation was
from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family sug
gests contributions to Hospice of Houston County, 103
Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088; or United
Hospice, 706 E. 16th Ave., Cordele, GA 31015.
Catlett, born in Walker County, and the daughter of the
late Cameron and Loni Swanson Wyatt, had lived in
Houston County since 1955. She was a homemaker and a
member of the First Baptist Church of Haynesville.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny R. Catlett (Peggy) and
Ricky Catlett (Donna), both of Haynesville; daughter, Mary
Pat Singleton (Bobby) of Hawkinsville; sisters, Margaret
West of Perry, Babe Kellogg and Kitty Brown, both of
Walker County; two brothers, Glenn Wyatt of Chancey and
Jackie Wyatt of Eastman; two grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her hus
band, John Catlett.
