Facility gets wooden
floor for dance classes
By TIMOTHY GRAHAM
HHJ Staff Writer
The Houston County YMCA celebrated a new
addition to their facilities on Monday thanks to
the generosity of a Warner Robins couple.
“We needed a wooden floor for our dance
classes,” said YMCA Board Member and
Treasurer Elaine Milteer. “We had a sponge
floor and we could not teach classes in jazz, tap
or ballet. After our most recent recital in May
we announced that we were looking for a wood
en floor, and Danny and Trinette Rosales came
up afterwards and offered to help.”
The Rosaleses contributed the material and
labor to floor one room, and offered to sell to the
YMCA the material to floor another room at
cost. Milteer said that the Rosaleses’ gift saved
