Houston County Animal Rescue
and Kindness (ARK) will be held

Family Fair 2005 from 10 a.m.

RETHA HEYN
WARNER ROBINS - Retha Heyn, 80, passed away on
Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Elberta Health Care Center.
Services will be private.
Heyn was born in Dublin. She was a member of Green
Acres Baptist Church. She was a past member of the Pink
Ladies and Women’s Auxiliary at Houston Medical Center.
She retired from Middle Georgia Community Action
Agency. Her husband, Vernon Heyn; parents, George and
Ida Wood, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Leary of Warner
Robins; sons, Russell V Heyn of Swainsboro, Donald Ray
Heyn of Warner Robins; brother, Millard C. Wood (Ola) of
Macon; four grandchildren, Amy Leary, Keith Leary, Sonja
Heyn, Heather Heyn.

BETTY S. WYATT
WARNER ROBINS - Betty S. Wyatt, 70, passed away on
Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Emory University Hospital.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2005, at
Shirley Hills Baptist Church, with interment following in
Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation was from 6:30 until 9
p.m. Friday, July 29, 2005, at McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to
the Shirley Hills Baptist Church Building Fund, 615 Corder
Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
Wyatt was born in Macon. She was a charter member of
Shirley Hills Baptist Church and was the General Sunday
School secretary for 38 years. She was also one of the eight
original families of Shirley Hills Baptist Mission. She was
retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. Her par
ents, John and Alice Stripling, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Lascal Wyatt of
Warner Robins; sons, Michael Wyatt of Warner Robins, Ken
Wyatt (Angela) of Sarasota, Fla.; grandchildren, Tres
Wyatt, Emily Wyatt, Peter Marron, Christina Marron and
Michael Marron.

PAUL N. ZOUMBERIS
WARNER ROBINS - Paul N. Zoumberis, 29, died
Wednesday, July 27, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 3
p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral
Home. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Fr.
Michael Vastakis, Fr. Cyril Garrett and the Rev. Tommy
Martin will officiate.
Zoumberis, a lifelong resident of Houston County, was a
member of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in
Macon. He was a graduate of Warner Robins High School
and attended Valdosta State College. He was the grandson
of the late Demetrios and Bessie Zoumberis and the great
grandson of the late Luther Williams.
Survivors include his wife Stephanie Wynne Zoumberis;
daughter, Taylor Phillips; parents, Tony and Elizabeth
Rowe Zoumberis; brother, Tony (Jennifer) Zoumberis; and
niece Madilynn Elizabeth Zoumberis, all of Warner Robins;
grandparents: Norman and Gina Rowe; aunts and uncles,
Nick (Patsy) Zoumberis, Nancy Franco, Barbara Lanier,
Carol (Van) Lowry, Kathleen (Allen) Walton and Norman
Rowe.
A wake service was held at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral
home chapel followed by a time of visitation until 9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Cross
Greek Orthodox Church Reconstruction Fund, 859 First
St., Macon, GA 31201.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrange
ments.
