THE HOUSTON HOME JOURNAL
The employee inside the
store told police a man
entered the store, pointed a
gun and demanded money.
The suspect left the store
and fled on foot with an
undisclosed amount of
money.
No one was injured, police
said, and there were no cus
tomers inside the store at
the time.
Anyone with information
about the robbery is asked
to contact Det. Karen J.
Stokes with the Warner
Robins Police Department
Criminal Investigation
Division at 918-2980.
- Ray Ughtner
Free T-shirts with the
Sonny Fish Fry logo will
also be given out, as will
door prizes provided by
event sponsors.
The governor started this
tradition as a way to get
back home to Middle
Georgia and enjoy a casual
day with friends, family and
supporters.
Last year, over 1,300
Georgians, along with Sen.
Johnny Isakson and many
state legislators, came to eat
catfish and enjoy bluegrass
music with the governor.
“Mary and I are proud of
Houston County, and this is
our opportunity to showcase
it to our supporters who live
all across Georgia,” said
Perdue. “We hope to see
Republicans, Democrats,
and people who don’t belong
to a party to come out for a
fun, family-friendly event.
Mary and I look forward to
this all year long.”
