EDWARD THOMAS
HAYNESVILLE - Edward
Thomas died Tuesday, Aug.
23, 2005. Funeral service
will be held 11 a.m. Saturday
at Richardson Funeral Home
Chapel, with burial in the old Mt. Olive
Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Eddie and
Mattie Thomas. He served in the U.S.
Army and retired from Robins Air Force
Base.
Survivors include his children, Carl
Thomas (Angela), Angela Thomas Gully (Stephen) of
Chicago, 111., Sharon Thomas Brown (Quentin) Of El Paso,
Texas, and Angela Thomas of Hawkinsville; siblings,
Claude Thomas, Daniel Thomas (Julia), Charleston
Thomas (Georgia), Lillian Duhart, Estella Duhart
(Roberson), Mertis Turner (Frederick),Willa Kenniel
(Charles) And Mattie Persley (Fred).
Richardson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Women
The Warner Robins Police
Department will be conduct
ing a course on handgun
basics for women in
September. The class will
consist of two classroom ses
sions of two hours each and
one session on the firing
range about fours hours of
shooting exercises. Class
dates are Sept. 19 and 22 at
6 p.m. in the classroom and
Sept. 24 beginning at 8 a.m.
on the firing range. Cost is
