WRPD seeks robbery suspects
B Warner Robins Police are looking
for two black male gunmen in con
nection with the Wednesday night
robbery of the Watson Bivd. Krystal.
At 11:34 p.m., officers responded
to 1638 Watson Bivd., concerning
an armed robbery. Investigation
revealed that two men entered the
restaurant and demanded money
from the register.
Det. Art Curnutte said one man held
two employees at gunpoint while
the second forced the manager to
relinquish an undisclosed amount of
money from the safe.
After receiving the money, the sus
pects departed the restaurant on
foot in an unknown direction. There
were no injuries during the incident.
Curnutte said the first suspect is
described as a black man, 20 to
25 years old, 6-foot with a slender
build. He was last seen wearing
a black long-sleeve shirt and dark
color pants.
The second suspect is described as
a black man, 18 to 21 years old, 5-
foot-8 with a medium build. He was
last seen wearing a gray, hooded
sweatshirt and dark in color pants.

From dog house to hig house

dog house ... literally. That’s where
he was found hiding when he was

The 2006 Robins Air Show
and Open House is this
weekend.
The United States Air
Force Thunderbirds will
headline the air show, per
forming full demonstrations
both days.
Along with the F-16
Fighting Falcons of the
Thunderbirds, the show also
includes the Army’s Silver
Wings jump team, an F-15
demonstration, F-117 Stealth
Fighter, B-2 Stealth Bomber,
C-5 and C-130 cargo aircraft,
Ed Hamill flying the Air
Force Reserve Biplane, Patty
Wagstaff and Pat Davidson’s
Jet Ambulance.
The event will take place
on the Robins flightline.
“Our main goal this year
is to highlight aircraft from
several generations,” said
Lt. Col. Manny Haldopoulos,
air show director, in a base
press release.
“We’ll have multiple fight
ers, bombers, and cargo air
craft from the World War
II and Korean era, mul
tiple helicopters and other
Vietnam-era aircraft, and, of
course, the modern genera
tion of tactical and strategic
aircraft that defend our free
doms around the globe.”

Anthony Goines, 35, of
322 Bruce St., in Warner
Robins, was sentenced
to 20 years to serve
10 and banished from
Houston County for hav
ing guns (one stolen) and
a lot of pot.
He pleaded guilty to
possession of marijuana
with intent to distribute,
two counts of possession
of a firearm by a convict-
ed felon,
and one
count of
theft by
receiving
stolen
property
May 4 in
Houston
Superior
Court.
He also
violated

his previous probation for
the June 2000 conviction
for purchase, possession,
manufacture, distribution
or sale of controlled sub
stance or marijuana.
His sentence also includ
ed $5,000 in fines and
fees, drug offender con
ditions possess no fire
arms, commit no crimes
of theft or violence, con
sume no illegal drugs or
alcohol and banishment
from Houston County and
all contiguous counties.
The charges stem from
an April 21 incident,
where members of the
Warner Robins Police
Department Criminal
Investigation Division,
with the assistance of the
Houston County Juvenile
Division, were investi
gating a residential bur
glary that occurred on
Oklahoma Ave. Two pis
tols were stolen in the
burglary and information
was received that the two
pistols were at the the
aforementioned residence
on Bruce Street, explained
Det. Brad Mules.
During a search, contact
was made with Goines
who was found in posses
sion of a backpack con
taining a large amount of
marijuana. The marijuana
totaled 4.73 pounds, with
a street value estimated
at $3,000. :
Mules said Goines was
also located in a bed
room where two firearms
were found, a Maverick
12-gauge shotgun and a
Ruger Super Blackhawk
44 revolver. There was
also $7,230 in cash.
