Robins Federal Credit Union employees and family members recently helped the organization place first in
regard to the amount of team money raised in support of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Houston
County. Their efforts included taking part in team fund-raisers such as bake sales, candy bar sales, basket and
parking spot raffies, chicken biscuit sales and windshield washing in drive-throughs. In addition, Relay For Life
paper stars were sold at all branch locations. Team members collected donations individually, and a corporate
sponsorship was given which helped to total a donation of more than $20,000 to the American Cancer Society.
Robins Federal Credit Union’s theme was “Bettin’ On A Cure,” a theme and campsite ornamented in casino type
decorations that helped them win the “Best Campsite” award at the event.
