doing things yourself. Congressional candidate Mac Collins built and installed
a campaign sign for his main headquarters on Watson Blvd. in Warner Robins.
BOTTOM: During a recent tour of Robins Air Force Base, Collins inspected
advance military aircraft, met with civilian workers repairing jets, was briefed on
the base’s future needs and was give a classified briefing on advanced military

Mac Collins served in the U.S. Congress
from 1993 to 2005.
In 2004, Collins chose to leave his con
gressional seat to make a run for the
Republican nomination for the Georgia
Senate seat left vacant by the retirement
of Democratic Senator Zell Miller. That
race was won by Johnny Isakson, and
Collins was filled by state House minority
leader Lynn Westmoreland.

Councilman Dough

the pre-council session the
developer, who had initially
asked for R-4, had reached
an agreement with the city’s
Planning Commission to get

The city council also

Even though his big challenge in the
polls won’t be until November when he

Walker noted the city will

Terry Horton asked about
the proposed over pass at
Ga. 96 and Ga. 247. Walker

The motion was opposed by
Councilmen Dean Cowart
