won the title National
Champion at the Equestrian
Junior level and Reserve
National Champion in the
Horsemanship Sub-Junior
level at the 34th p aso Fino
Horse Association National
Championship Show in
Harrell promoted to vice president of Jamo U.S

distribution company for the
Klipsch and Jamo speaker
brands, announced that Bill
Harrell has been promoted
to vice president of Jamo
U.S.
In his new position,
Harrell, who grew up in
Perry and currently lives
in Indian Shores, Fla., is
responsible for overseeing
distribution, channel and
category strategies for the
Jamo brand in North and
South America.
“Bill comes to Jamo with
a very strong track record in
the audio industry, having
efficiently moved through
the sales ranks at Klipsch,”
said Dave Kelley, president
of Klipsch Group Americas.
“I want to thank Bill for his
hard work, leadership and
dedication. He has been a
key player in our success so I
am confident that the future
of Jamo has never looked
brighter.”
Harrell joined Klipsch in
1995 as a sales represen
tative and quickly assumed
leadership roles that includ
ed director of sales for the
residential contracting divi
sion and, more recently,
national sales manager for
the company’s specialty
retail and contractor busi
ness.
While managing the resi
dential contracting divi
sion, he led the factory
direct Klipsch sales team in
expanding the distribution
of Klipsch-brand products
into the residential contract
ing market achieving 71 per
cent sales growth. In 1999,
Harrell received the Klipsch
Sales Representative of the
Year award.
Harrell has more than 20

his career at Highland
Superstores where he start
ed as a sales representative
and, within six months,
Perry recently.
This was her second year
of competition in the Paso
Fino shows. She was riding
Dolce Vita de Dulce.
Woodyard was introduced
to the Paso Fino horses when
she was 4 and began riding
alone when she was 5.
Her brother - 12-year
old Tyler - won the title
moved into a management
position. During his 10 years
at Highland Superstores, he
was named audio sales man
ager of the year in 1989.

However, each local BOE

added, “Under certain
conditions the Board may
make an exception to this
rule (children with various
disabilities, etc.). All excep
tions are handled on mer

The bottom line, school
systems are legally obli
gated to fulfill the mini
mum requirements of the
law. Normally, that would
be the end of this bleak
story, and the status quo
would remain unchal
lenged. However, times
are anything but nor
mal in Elouston County.
