The Seventh Annual
Thank-a-Vet Run will be held
Saturday at the Museum of
Aviation at Robins Air Force
Base, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Event proceeds will fund
activities such as: scholar
ships for military members,
the POW/MIA Memorial,
Young Astronauts Day and
Art Exhibit, support of local
middle school classrooms
via the AFA/Aerospace
Education Foundation’s
Vision’s Program, awards
for the Non-Commissioned
Officer Academy graduat
ing classes and Operation
Seasons Greeting.
The cost of the golf tourna
ment is SSO per person. The
fee covers lunch, golf fees,
cart, range balls, drinks, and
prizes.
Optimist Bowl
Check-in time for the SK/
one-mile run/walk begins at
7:15 a.m. The pre-registra
tion cost of sls covers an
event T-shirt and refresh
ments. On-site registration
is S2O.
A picture identification
card is required. Interested
persons may register on
