Centerville Elementary
School
Dec. 20
The Centerville
Elementary chorus, dance
team and jump rope team
will perform a Christmas
program for the school at
9: a.m.
Parkwood Elementary
School
Dec. 19
A Parkwood Christmas
musical will be held at 7 p.m.
in the cafeteria.
Dec. 20
At 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.,
the chorus and strings will
perform the Parkwood
Christmas Musical for stu
dents in the cafeteria. Russell
Elementary School
Bonaire Middle School
Thursday
The Bonaire Middle School
Band Holiday Concert will
be at 6:30 p.m. in the BMS
gym. The school’s jazz band
will also perform.
Huntington Middle
School
Thursday
The Huntington Middle
School band winter concert
will be held starting at 6:30
p.m. The concert will be held
in the HMS gym. The sixth
grade band begins at 6:30,
seventh-grade at 7 p.m., and
eighth-grade at 7:30 p.m.
Northside Middle
School
Tuesday
Northside Middle School’s
Band Holiday Concert will
be at 7 p.m. in the NMS
gym.
Warner Robins Middle
School
Thursday
The Warner Robins Middle
School band will have its
annual Christmas concert
at the Warner Robins Civic
Center. The concert will
begin at 7 p.m. The best
time for pictures and/or
video of the program would

■ FIRST AID/CPR
CLASS - The American
Red Cross Houston Middle
Georgia Chapter will be
holding an Adult CPR/AED
and first aid class Saturday
from 8 a.m.-noon at the
chapter office on 346 Corder
Road. Cost is $45 for both
classes and S3O for individi
ual classes and must be paid
prior to the day of the class.

will meet Dec. 18 at 6:30
p.m. in the council chamber,

Baptist Church. A re-enact
ment in costume, with live
animals, of life in the village
of Bethlehem at the time
of Jesus’ birth. This event
attracts thousands each
year. Free.

Northside Elementary
School
Dec. 19 and Dec. 20
A 'Yuletide Celebration
will be presented by the
Northside Elementary
School fourth and fifth
grade chorus Dec. 19 at 6:15
p.m. for families and Dec. 20
at 9 a.m. for students. The
program will feature holiday
classics taken from Houston
County’s new “Share the
Music” curriculum. Some
of the selections include
“Winter Wonderland,”
“Rocking Around the
Christmas Tree,” “Feliz
Navidad,” and “Jingle Bell
Rock.” In addition to sing
ing, some of the chorus
members will break dance
and jitterbug to make this
program one-of-a-kind.
Eagle Springs
Elementary School
Dec. 19
The Eagle Springs
Elementary School Pre-K
and kindergarten classes will
once again take off to the
Polar Express. Each year
the classes decorate a school
bus to resemble the Polar
Express. ESES Assistant
Principal David Carver is
the conductor who reads the
holiday classic to the chil
dren. They have hot choco
late and then Santa visits
the children. The event will
take place around 9 a.m.
