steal and drive to the bas
ket resulted in a goal-tend,
which meant Perry was up
one, 58-57.
Fluellen drew a foul after a
steal, but could only hit one
of his foul shots for a tied
score. Warner Robins had
two turnovers, but Perry fol
lowed with two giveaways of
its own before Willis sank
the game-winner.
Warner Robins led 31-26
at halftime. Jones opened
the second half for the
Panthers with two baskets
off penetration by Hayward
and Antonio Hubbard. But
Miller and Willis countered
with baskets from 3-point
land to keep a lead of six,
37-31.
The momentum swung
back and forth all game
long, and for Perry a trey
by Felder and a stick back
by Jared Fluellen capped an
8-0 run to bring the visi
tors within one at 39-38.
Hubbard and Hayward took
the ball to the goal for four
more Perry points, but it
was again counted by the
Demons’ 3-point attack.
Though K. Fluellen and
Willis hit consecutive treys,

it was Felder ending the
third quarter with a 3-ball

eight minutes to play.
In the first half, neither
side was able to take advan
tage of great blocks (includ
ing two by Jones in the first
quarter), steals, good passes
or second-chance opportuni
ties.
Perry led by as much as
four in the first eight min

drove the lane for a basket.
With Wright hitting a 3-
pointer, the Demons trailed
by one, 15-14, going into the
second quarter.
Willis scored on a running
one-hander in the paint to
tie the game 18-all in the
second.
But Perry had another
mini-spurt with C. Willis
scoring a 3-pointer (26-20).
That would be it Tor the
Panthers in the first half as
Warner Robins scored the
last 11.
Miller started it with a trey,
and Willis turned around on
the baseline to nail a short
jumper. K. Fluellen also
scored on a third-chance
shot.
