SERVICE - Rebuilding
Together, Warner Robins
affiliate, is now accepting
applications to repair and
rehabilitate homes for low
income elderly and disabled
homeowners in Warner
Robins. Qualifying hom
eowners who are 62 years
of age or older, or disabled
homeowners can fill out the
necessary application at the
Warner Robins City Hall
Community Development
Office. Applications will
be taken until Oct. 31.
According to a release, all
materials are provided free
of charge for renovations
and repairs. More informa
tion may be obtained by

■ HCHS PARKING
PERMITS - Houston
County High School student
parking permits, according
to a release from the school,
are now on sale. Permits
are being sold, according
to the release, on a first
come first-serve basis in the
attendance office. Permit
sale hours on today are 8
a.m.-noon. Additional pur
chases will be offered begin
ning Aug. 6 before and after
school each day. According
to the release, the following
documents are required to
purchase a parking permit:
Current vehicle registra
tion card, proof of auto
mobile insurance, current
driver’s license of student
driving the vehicle and $35
cash, or check/money order
made payable to Houston
County High School. To
purchase a parking permit,
the student may not have
any unpaid fines.
■ HCHS FRESHMAN
ORIENTATION
- Houston County High
School will host a freshman
orientation today at 6:30
p.m. Incoming freshmen
and their parents, accord
ing to a release, are invited
to attend the open house to
receive important informa
tion on school rules and
procedures. Also per the
release, there will not be an
open house for students in
10th through 12th grades.
To receive their schedules,
sophomores, juniors and
seniors should report to
their connection teacher on
the first day of classes, Aug.

drop-in orientation and two
open houses. Students and
their parents are encour

reads. The drop-in orienta
tion will be held today from
4-6 p.m. The open hous

the main campus at 6 p.m.
and Aug. 23 at the Rumble
Academy at 6 p.m.Warner

a School Council election
for parent members Aug. 16

ria. Meetings for the 2007-

30, Nov. 1, Feb. 7, 2008
