Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Welch, a native of Manning
County, South Carolina, was a
Northside High School graduate
and a Baptist. Survivors include
his father, William R. Welch,
stepmother, Sandy Welch, two
brothers, Charles and Wayne
Welch, niece, Jennifer Welch
and nephews, Steven and Josh
Welch. Predeceased by his
mother, Peggy Sue Welch.

County increases building inspection fees

The Houston County
Commissioners have
approved higher fees for
builders in order to covered
the operating expenses of
the Building Inspection,
Planning zoning Offices.
Currently, all building per

announces new board members

The Warner Robins Area
Chamber of Commerce
announced its newly elected
Board of Directors for 2008,
Sep.t. 21. They are: Kathy
Hart, Steve Holcomb, Jr.,
Beth McLaughlin, Daryl
Long, Michael McNeal, Lee
Minor and Chuck Shaheen.
The election process,
according to a release, ini
tially began after ballots
were sent to each member
of the Warner Robins Area
Chamber of Commerce.
Members voted and bal
lots were returned to the
Chamber to be tallied. The
newly elected directors will
serve for the three-year term
of Jan. 1, 2008 through Dec.
31, 2010.
Additionally, the chamber
announced the new executive
officers of the board. They
are: Neil Suggs, chairman;
Rick Drury, chairman elect;
Kathy Balletto, internal
affairs; Shaw Blackmon, edu
cational affairs; John Howell,
governmental affairs; Walter
“Randy” Randall, communi
ty affairs; and Terry Smith,
economic affairs.
The Warner Robins Area
Chamber of Commerce will
also host a welcome reception
in honor of Ed Rodriguez,
the chamber’s new president
and CEO Oct, 11 from 5-7
p.m. at the Warner Robins
Area Chamber of Commerce.
Light refreshments will be
served.

chamber board and to our
new President and CEO, Ed
Rodriguez. We wish everyone

effort to further the growth
