Special to the Journal
The Warner Robins Area Chamber of
Commerce hosted a Ground Breaking
Ceremony for the Warner Robins
American Little League Nov. 7 at 100
Snellgrove Drive.
According to a release from the
chamber, since it’s inception in 1953;
Warner Robins American Little League
has outgrown three different fields.
Beginning behind City Hall and then
moving to Flint Fields beside Warner
Robins High School and now at its
new location off Cohen Walker Drive,
the growth of little league baseball has
caused the Warner Robins American
Little League to seek new fields once
again. The location now has seven
fields and, according to the release,
three new fields will be added.
“From astronauts, mayors, lawyers
and even the current governor, little
league has been instrumental in the
lives of many Georgians,” the release
reads. Past Warner Robins American
Little League presidents include,
