minutes after the first pitch of Perry
High School’s 2008 baseball season,
Adam Nelson drove in the game
winning run in the bottom of the
ninth inning. The Panthers beat the
Crisp County High Cougars - the
same Cougars team they beat in the
first round of last year’s state play

soccer Tuesday was much longer
and much colder
for Northside High
at city rival Warner
Robins High. Six
different players
scored one time
each for the Demon

victory against the

Warner Robins girls
used six first-half
goals to cruise to a
7-0 shutout win.
In the boys match,
the Demons and

breakaway shots and succeeded
the first time when Scott Adams
put the home club ahead 1-0 at
36:59.
Afterwards, Northside goal
keeper Jacob Slaughter came up
with saves against Matt Drapeau
and Michael Barrett. Jonathan
