Incidents reported to Auburn PD
The following incidents were recently
reported to the Auburn Police Department:
•harassing communications at a Carter
Road residence, where a woman reported
her daughter was receiving text messages
from another female.
•criminal trespass at a Carter Road resi
dence, where a woman reported damage to
her 2008 Chrysler PT Cmiser parked at her
residence.
•theft by taking at Dollar General on
Atlanta Highway, where a man reported the
theft of a Stihl blower from his truck parked
at the store.
•failure to appear bench warrant at a 4th
Avenue residence.
•civil matter at a Jonaquil Avenue, Dac-
ula, residence, where a woman reported
receiving a harassing text message from her
children’s biological father.
•damage to property at a Clover Drive
residence, where a man reported damage to
his mailbox.
•no insurance at a traffic stop on County
Line-Auburn Road.
•domestic dispute at a Heatherwood Drive
residence, where a female reported her
ex-husband and his parents would not let
her see her two children.

fraud at a Coveview Circle,

a woman reported receiving
two letters from two cred
it card companies where
someone had applied using
her name and address.
•fraud at a Westbury Drive,
Bethlehem, residence, where
a woman reported receiving
a Facebook message from
a “mutual friend” claiming
to have won $200,000 and
advising the complainant
she was also a potential
winner, but she was directed
to an unknown website and
asked to provide a picture
of her driver’s license and
pay $2,000 before she could
collect her winnings.
•criminal trespass at a
Hoyt King Road, Bethle
hem, residence, where a
woman reported her trash
can, owned by her garbage
service company, had been
damaged.
•possession of metham-
phetamine at a Mount Mori
ah Road, Auburn, residence,
where a man reported find
ing a cigarette pack in his
mailbox that contained what
he described as “meth."
•verbal domestic distur
bance at a Deer Walk Drive,
Winder, residence, where a
man reported his daughter
and his grandson’s girlfriend
had been arguing.
•financial transaction
card fraud at a Forsyth Park
Lane, Hoschton, residence,
where a woman reported
a fraudulent charge on her
credit union statement.
•speeding, reckless driv
ing, racing on highways
or streets, improper pass
ing in a no-passing zone
and increasing speed while
being passed on Highway
211 NW at Lee Stone Road,
Hoschton, where two drivers
were observed traveling at
a high rate of speed as one
was attempting to pass the
other, with one driver trav
eling on the wrong side of
the road.
