Winder police officers arrested
Frank James Waits, 37, 40 Maynard

Officers were summoned to the

U.S. coins, various pieces of turquoise
jewelry, turtle-shaped broach, charm
bracelet, gold chain, numerous pieces
of costume jewelry and a wooden jew
elry box that the homeowner identified
as belonging to her.
The officers stated Waits “turned
and appeared to be shocked that I was
standing there.”
Waits told the officer his aunt lived
at the residence, but it was deter
mined no one by the name he gave
