Many factors enter into the successful operation of any farm.
Some of the important ones are beyond our control, but the sys
tem of operation, seleetion of crops, equipment, power, labor,
cte.. all can be controlled. The most important of these from a
husitiess viewpoint is the equipment, POWER and LABOR. The
labor involved has a direct relationship to the power and equip
ment used and it is important to note that the men who have
turned to business methods of farming are using TRACTOR
POWER AND POWER FARM EQUIPMENT. ,
The MceCormick-Deering 10-20 or 1530 tractor will solve your
power problem, whether it is plowing, harrowing, hauling, saw
milling, ginning, ete. Let us talk it over with you,

TWO WOUNDED |
MEMBERS OF CREW ON RUM
RUNNER SHOT IN SEA BAT
TLE.
ST AUGUSTINE, Fla., August 10
—(/P)—Two members of the crew of
the Hazel Lee, British rum runners
schooner, were wounded today in a
gun battle with hi-jackers about
27 miles cast of Amastasia light.
Captain Enautz of the schooner
and one of the members of his crew
were brought to St. Augustine late
today but their condition had not‘
been determined early tonight. They:‘
were brought into the harbor here
on board a light skiff manned by
other members of the crew.
Reports reaching Chiet of Police
Manuey here were that a skiff, bear
ing six men, approached the schoon
cr and a gun battle ensued on board
the rum runner. An investigation
was under way, Mr. Maucey said.
-~ Advices here in conncetionwith
the affair were very meagre.
Reports were that the master of
the British ship was taken ashore in
a light skiff by members of his own
crew.
It was said that the battle was
not between government boats and
the rum runner but that hi-jackers
attacked the British boat, said to be
a carrier of liquors,
