The Jenkins County School System is proud to
announce the addition of fifteen teachers to the staff.
Jenkins County Elementary School welcomes:
Sarah Beth Dickey
I graduated high school from Jenkins County in 2014. After graduation I went to East
Georgia State College for one year, then transferred to Georgia Southern University. I
graduated from Georgia Southern in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree and again in 2021 with
a master’s degree. I am married to Ben Dickey and the daughter of Theron and Angie
Cates. I am excited to be back at JCES because it tmly feels like home. I love the teachers,
the students, the parents, and the community.
Margo Hadden
My name is Margo Hadden, and I am going to be teaching 4th grade Language Arts at
JCES this school year. I am a 2018 graduate of JCHS and a 2022 graduate of Georgia
Southern University’s College of Education. My husband Kane and I recently bought
a house here in Millen, and we share it with our three furbabies Jett, Fancy, and Kitty
Screech. I am very excited to be teaching at JCES because it feels like home. I am also
excited to impart the same love and care to your children that my teachers did for me. I
believe we are going to have a great year! Go Eagles!
Katie Whitlow
’m Katie Whitlow. I graduated from Georgia Southern University in May 2023 with a dual
certification in special education and elementary education. I was top of my class and
was granted the Eagle Teacher Award in recognition of my work. I am currently working
toward my masters in special education from Georgia Southern. I have been married for 5
years and have a 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter. I spent my final semester student
teaching at JCES and I fell in love with the community, the teachers, and the students. I
am super excited to to call myself an Eagle and teach 5th grade at JCES!
Sierra Fields
Hey everyone! My name is Sierra Fields. I grew up in Jenkins County and graduated
from Jenkins County High School. Following graduation, I attended Georgia Southern
University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Special and Elementary Education
with a reading endorsement. While attending Georgia Southern University, I married my
husband, Jacob, and welcomed a little boy, Bentley, into the world. I’m excited to return
home to Jenkins County this fall, where I will be teaching 4th grade ELA, and providing
little eagles with the knowledge they need to soar!
Jenkins County Middle School welcomes:
Robbie Warnock
Robbie Warnock is a 1993 graduate of Swainsboro High School. He attended Georgia
Southern where he earned his Bs degree in English 6-12 and Ms and EdS degrees in
Educational Leadership. He taught English at Swainsboro High before going into admin
and serving as AP at Swainsboro High, Swainsboro Elementary, and Swainsboro Middle.
In 2015, Robbie moved to Twin City Elementary where he served at AP and principal.
Robbie is married to Lisa Warnock; they have two children, Robert (17) and Ava Lane
(12). In his free time, Robbie loves attending his children's sporting events (even though
after 14 years he still can't call off-sides in soccer) and all things from the 80s. Robbie is
most excited about working with high school students again and he can already tell that
our middle and high school students are awesome! —
Roy Clayton
Jenkins County High School welcomes:
