Lester Lariscy told law enforcement that “someone has been cutting off catalytic converters from two vehicles.” Lariscy further identified a red ford pickup and a gold jeep that had the converters removed between Friday and Monday when he discovered the theft. Chief Shane Burke said in a statement, “we have made an arrest for theft by receiving stolen goods, however the investigation remains active.” Catalytic converters are being stolen across the country and the neighboring counties have felt the pinch.
