GOOD WORK.
COLLEGE SPIRIT SHOWN BY THE
BOYS.
At a meeting in the cliapel this
week it was shown that the money
for the new Held had run out, and
that if more was not raised the
work will have to stop and no ball
be play ed. On this showing, the
boys responded better Ilian ever
before in the history of our school.
In a few minutes nearly two hun
dred w is raised, and together with
a little outside work the amount was
run up to nearly two hundred and
twenty-live dollars. This amount,
if oil will nearly complete the
tilling. Hut it is needed al once.
Let every hoy who aiiliaurihed pay
up at once if possilde. Make an
extra effort and hand in your mo
ney at iiiii e. Those who have not
sillise I'ilmiC give something to llodd
or one of the committee. At any
rate lei every hoy pull together for
the grand finale of the minstrels, a
most ludicrous hurl isriiic on a re
cent a IT iir in the Classic < 'ity, which
is certain to cause sidesplitting
laughter.
