The husinessr repo:t of Manager

hasehalll season has been a splen

been very few times within the past
four or five years that we have been
so fortunate and Manager Park de
serves credit for the splendid sue
cess he has made of the season.
With a clean balance sheet in both
football and baseball next year, and
plenty of men in college w ho will
make good material for both of these
teams there is no reason why next
years should not be made a banner

M. M. Dickinson, Captain.
Anderson is a good all round
player. During the season he
played right field, first base and
pitched. His chief position how
ever was pitching. He puts both
speed and curve in his balls.
Bower’s fort is also in the pitchers
box. He has developed into one of
the best twirlers on the Georgia dia
mond, and next season he bids fair
to be the equal of any in the South.
Cooper is an Athens boy and
although he didn’t get into the
games until the close of the sea
son he distinguished himself as a
heavy hitter and also for his uni
formly good work on third.
Uoile w as the regular standby

behind the hat he was invincible.
[ Uoile lives in Winterville and
will probably lie back next year.
Captain Dickinson wusdebared
from playing last year, but the
interest lie took in the team and
the splendid coaching he gave it
caused him to he elected captain
of this years team, and was
voted his G last year. He is good
at any position, hut is best be-

Calhoun played at third base
during the first of the season.
His work at this hag was good.
