The game was dose all the way
through and the spe< tutors were never
confident of the result. While Geor
gia los| her first game it was by a
small -.cure and we have the satisfac
turn of realizing that, after the first
inning, Georgia outplayed Davidson
at every point.
Manager Boyd wishes to request
the students uot to tear down the
notices of the various games until the
games are played, it is customary
to post notices ol the games about
the streets of Athens a week or more
before the game. The games must
be thoroughly advertised or the gate
receipts will lall off. In the past
these advertisements have been torn
down two or three days liefore the
game. Who has torn them down
we do not know, but we are very
anxious to have the cards left where
the Manager has posted them, until
the game. We ask every reader of
I’The Rr.n and Blacx to exert his in
fluence to have the signs let alone.
