Theta Sig To Distribute Blotters
Desk blotters with advertisements and phone numbers will be distributed
to students during spring quarter by Theta Sigma Phi, women’s honorary
journalism Fraternity.
Various businesses who have primary selling appeal to students will be
advertised. Listing of sorority, fraternity, and dormitory phone numbers
will bo printed on the blotters.
Proceeds from the project will lie used to defray convention delegate's
expenses as well ns to provide for speakers and projects during the coming
year.
Harrietts Schrelber. Illackshear, has been elected president of Theta
Sigma Phi. Other new officers are Mildred Sparks, Commerce, vice presi
dent; Mary Ellen Parker, Atco, secretary; Joey Sawatzke, Ileaver Falls,
Pa., treasurer; and Mlgnon Franklin, Calhoun, archivist.

Whirling down the “Georgia
Lane this week, I learned that
the crystal hall foretells a great
weekend for parties and balls.
The TEPs’ celebration of their
37th anniversary on the University
campus begins the weekend social
whirl Friday with a formal dance at
the Georgian Hotel. The Bulldogs
will play for this event, at which the
new TEP sweetheart will be crown
ed. A breakfast at the house will fol
low. Saturday night's events Include
a dinner and closed dance at Char
lie Williams.’
GOI’-Trl Q Square Dance
Continuing with Friday night’s ac
tivities, GOP and Triquetra are plan
ning a square dance at the Legion
Hut. Pi Kappa Phi’s will be dancing
at Charlie Williams’. The SAE's have
big plans for a
closed informal
dance at the
YWCA camp.
Kappa Psl,
pharmaceut leal
fraternity, will
entertain its na
tional sweet
hearts, Lambda
Kappa Sigma,
with an informal
dance at the Kap-
pa Psl house.
Saturday night, the rocking and
rolling continues as the Alpha Gams
throw their annual winter formal at
the Holman Hotel. Georgia Bulldogs
will play for this event which is cen
tered around a “candyland” theme.
Also on the big dance social calen
dar are the AOPi Hose Ball and the
KI) Diamond Ball.
AVMA Dunce
Chi Psi brothers will gather at the
house for closed dancing; T. C. Ter
rell's combo will furnish the musical
heat. The Junior Chapter of the
American Veterinary Medicine Asso
ciation will dance to the music of
Ira Polk at the Women's P. E. Build
ing. Saddle and Sirloin members are
donning western duds for a square
dance at the Legion Hut.
Thetas and Pi Phis are gathering
at Charlie Williams’ for a joint In
formal dance. C. Walker is slated to
provide the evening's musical enter
tainment.
