"The Starma8ter,” an hour-long
teleplay starring Victor Jory, will be
shown Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 8:30
p.m. as the second feature in
WGTV’s recently acquired Cameo
Theatre series.
This story of a stern, retired gen
eral who meets rigid opposition in
fighting the battle of the production
line is one of the 26 plays shown
originally in the afternoons on
commercial television. Critics have
considered the series a landmark in
high quality and unusual television
programming.

are “Jane Eyre, The Man Without a
Country, the Fall of the House of
Usher” and “The Turn of the
Screw.”
Our newest states, Hawaii and
Alaka, will be featured In programs
on Tuesday, Jan. 9. At 6:46 p.m.,
“The Hawaiian Islands, America’s
Exciting New State,” will be pre
sented. and 8:30 p.m. Alaska—The
New Frontier will place special
emphasis on that state’s military
value.
