Daniels at the guard position.
Flaying behind Daniels is not
an easy task as “Stinky" has
started every game at Georgia
since 1975. He is the second
leading scorer in Bulldog
basketball history
“It's tough to heat guys like
Walt when you're out on the
court." Childers said “It's
hard to get a shot off on people
like him who can practically
jump out of the gym ."
Childers said he likes the
school, his teammates and
coach Durham "1 don't have
any regrets. I like playing
under Durham He works us
hard and he expects us to give
all we've got when we get out
on the floor, he said I would
be foolish if I said that I
wouldn't like to play more.
Everyone who sits on the
bench would like to play
more." Childers said “I have
no gripes I like the school and
if I plan on being a coach I
need to get my education." he
continued
"Three years from now when
I apply for a job it's not going
to matter how many games I
played in or how long Years
from now when I’m in a job
my boss won't give me a raise
because 1 played basketball."
Childers concluded
Childers' plan is to graduate
from the University next year
with a degree in Health and
Physical Education. He may
even go on to pursue his
master's. But for now. he's
going to continue to work hard
at improving his game
"For right now I'm going to
continue to give 100 percent in
practice and try to do the
things that the coach wants me
to do." Childers said “After
