‘ENCHANTED GARDEN’
Fashion Tea Held
At Drexel High
MISS CONNIE Goolsby was one

held Sunday at Drexel High. Tea
took place in the school's cen
tral courtyard.
“Fashions from the Enchant
ed Garden** was the title of the
Fashion Tea held at Drexel
Catholic High on Sunday. The
Fashion Tea, sponsored by the
newspaper staff and their par
ents. took place outdoors in the
school's central courtyard.
Models for the occasion in
cluded students from Drexel,
some of their parents and
friends. The outfits modeled
by the teen-age models were
furnished by Jacqueline’s Dress
Shop at 3579 Gordon Road.
Mrs. M. Mickelbury was the
MRS. FAYE G. YOUNG
commentator. Music for the oc
casion was furnished by Mr.
Graham Jackson. Contributing
to the entertainment were a
group of ballet students from
Jeanne’s Dance Studio.
Mrs. M. Terrell served as
chairman of the committee
which planned the tea. Other
committee members included:

Aid To UNICEF
UNITED NATIONS. N. Y.
(NC) — The Holy See has sent
51,000 to the United Nations
Children's Fund, as in past
years.
In a letter to Maurice Pate,
executive director of the fund,
Amleto Cardinal Cicognanl,
Papal Secretary of State, said
the money was sent “as a token
of the Holy See's deep interest
in the praiseworthy work of
UNICEF, and its desire that
these activities in favor of
needy children in every part of
the world should pres 1st and
develop even more.*’

eon at the Robert Mayer Hotel,

ference program. The subject
will be developing leadership.
May 2 is devoted to school
children with festivities begin
ning at 3:00 p.m. At 3:30 and
6:30 p.m. the youngsters will
present a musical entitled,
“Holiday in May."
There will also be an Art and
Hobby exhibit by the school
children. Ribbons for the art
will be awarded by Mrs. Alice
