with Margie Thomason, the club

adopted by the club members.
In our discussion of new busi
ness, it was decided that, our
club would organize a cheer-
leading squad and basketball
team for the tournaments that
will be held in February, 1975
for the Y clubs. In addition to
organizing a cbeerinlg squad,
we elected members who were
interested in becoming dele
gates for the annual youth as
sembly. They are as follows:
Margie Thomason, Sheila
Griimes, Marcia Bond, and Tam
my Smith. The meeting was
adjourned by the president.

Christmas at ECH
By Jeanie White
Christmas spirit arrived at
Elbert County this week. With
many door decorations and bul
letin boards expressing the real
meaning of Christmas. Students
have been writing papers and
letters to that jolly ole guy,
Santa Claus. Find that hard
to believe? Well, it’s true.
Just ask some of the people in
Mrs. Bryant’s English classes’.
Many people have forgotten
the true Christmas and its real
meaning. But somehow the
people at ECHS have put it
back together again. That’s
what makes our school num
ber one. The real people and
their real ideas.
