they were the guests of Mrs. Adolph
Hohenherg.
• TTte Montgomery, Ala., Unit of the
Junior Hadassah entertained at a cos
tume hall.
• Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Samuels have
returned from Bennettsville, S. C., where
they were called upon the death of Mrs.
Samuel's father, Mr. Leopold Straubs.
• MU> Ruby Goldsmith, of Wichita,
Kansas, has heen the guest of her brother
and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Reginald M.
Goldsmith.
• The following co-eds from the Univer
sity of Georgia are at home in Atlanta
for several days: Misses Lee Whiteman,
Rose Gilmer, Annette Moldow, Harriet
Wiseberg, Adele Kuniansky, Ruth Wein-
trauh, Bessie Diamond, Ida Mogul, Helen
Geffen, and Charlotte Stein.

of Georgia who have returned to their
homes for the Christmas Holidays are:

Slotin, Milly Wilenskv, and Hel en Green
berg.
• I*hr thirty-seventh wedding anniver
sary of Mr. and Mrs. M. Baum was cele
brated recently at a dinner attended by
the immediate family. Those present
were Mr. and Mrs. I* King and children,
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Gla/er, Mr. and Mrs.
Marcus Firestone and son, Misses Jean
and Miriam Baum, and Mr. Julius Ka-
batsky.
• Miss Claire Harper, violinist, accom
panied by Mrs. Charles (Tialmers, pre
sented a musical program at the meeting
of the Temple Sisterhood.
• Misses Hermina Baum and Lucille
Baum spent the holidays with their par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Baum on
West Pace’s Ferry Road. For the past
few months has been attending the Cin
cinnati Conservatory of Music. Miss Lu
cille Baum is enrolled at the Edgewood
Park College in Greenwich, Conn.
• 'I*he T. E. L. Club presented a show
during the intermission of a dance given
by Young Judaea. Those who took part
in the presentation were: Misses Selma
Cohen, Margie Cohen, Sylvia Bock, Rosa
lie Bock, Harriet Bach, Pauline Saul,
Dyette Fagelson, Marion Wender, Rhona
Koplin, Bernice Shanker, and Mitzi
Hirsch.
• Mr. and Mrs. Myron Greentree and
Mrs. Carl Greentree of Columbus, Ga.,
spent several days in Atlanta.
• Mr. Isaac May of Rome, Ga., was a
recent guest in Atlanta.
• Mrs. Melvin Mathes and family of
Cleveland, Ohio, are visiting Mr. and
Mrs. David Rothschild.
• Mrs. D. Haber and young daughter
have returned to Cleveland, Ohio, after
visiting Mr. and Mrs. David Rothschild
in Columbus, Ga.
• Mrs. Rosa Sterne is in Atlanta with
her son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. I. F.
Sterne, after a visit in Selma, Ala.
• Mr. and Mrs. Herman Julius of Co
lumbus, Ga., have the pleasure of having
their son home from the University of
Pennsylvania for the holidays.
• Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Cone spent several
days in Chattanooga visiting friends and
relatives.
• Misses Essie and Blanche Wenar,
daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Wenar of Bay St. Louis, Miss., have been
the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Schoen.
• Mr. and Mrs. M. Stephen Schiffer and
their mother, Mrs. Benj. Feld, are spend
ing several weeks in New York City and
Atlantic City, N. J.
• Miss Mitzi Eiseman has been spending
the holidays with her mother, Mrs. M. D.
Eiseman. Miss Eiseman was accompanied
by her schoolmate, Miss Jackie Greil of
Montgomery, Ala., who was her guest
until their return to the Marjorie Webster
School in Washington, D. C.
• Mr. and Mrs. I.erov Guthman and
young son, F'dward, and Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Vogel, all of Chicago, have been
the guests of Mrs. Ed Guthman and Mr.
and Mrs. Milton Klein.
• Mr. and Mrs. lister Schwarfzman and
daughter, Betty, of Chattanooga have
been the guests of their parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Ralph Rosenbaum.
• Mr. Milton Klein, Jr., has returned
home after visiting his aunt, Mrs. Kmil
Wise in Montgomery.
• Mr. Bobby Rofhberg spent the holidays
in Atlanta with his father, Mr. Samuel
Rothberg.
• Miss Helen Bauer has been spending
the holidays with her mother, Mrs. Wm.
Bauer. Before returning to college Miss
Bauer will visit friends in Asheville,
North Carolina.
• 'Hie Sisterhood of Anderson, S. C., en
tertained its members, their families and
munities in the form of a Chanukah
the Jewish people of the surrounding corn-
party. The program included the lighting
of the candles; a short service by Harry
Geisberg. Jr.; a play presented by the
members of the Sunday School class un
der the direction of Mrs. Ted Fleishman,
president of the Sisterhood and teacher
of the Sunday School; a reading by Mr*.
Sam Berns; followed by card games and
ref reshments.
• Mrs. H. Cheiitan, formerly of Buffalo,
N. Y.. who has been visiting her mother,
Mrs. S. J. Cohen, has returned to her new
home in Detroit, Michigan, with her baby
girl.
• Mr. Gilbert Cohen, a student of Duke
University, has been home with his
mother, Mrs. S. J. Cohen, for the holiday
season.
• Mrs. Nat Schlossberg and son of Se-
bring, Fla., were the guests of her par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Bom an on Parkway
Drive.
• Miss Perle Borisky and sister are
spending the winter season in Miami
Beach, Fla.
• The Jewish Progressive Club has fea
tured a number of after basketball game
dances, attended by large gatherings of
members and guests. The New Year
Dance closes the year 1933 and heralds
the New Year; music furnished by Rudy
Brown and his orchestra.
