MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
For the first time in its history. I
Atlanta A. Z. A. is sponsoring a I
concerted membership drive. This
drive, which started Sunday. Aug
ust 23. with a sport dance at the
Mayfair Club, will last until Tues
day. September 8. Advisor Harry
Popkin was appointed chairman of
the membership committee by the
Atlanta A- Z. A. Advisory Board.
“We feel that there are about
100 boys in Atlanta who are eli
gible for A. Z. A. but are not
j members," said Popkin. “Our
j purpose is to acquaint these
boys with the program and prin
ciples of A. Z. A. and encourage
