Mrs. Solomon announced her
group in co-operation closely with
the S. O. S. Drive for clothing
and canned goods for overseas.
Magazines, cards, and other items
intended for hospitals can be left
for the Auxiliary at the Progres
sive Club. The Auxiliary has a
program of hospital visitation in
cluding Hospital 48. alternate
Wednesdays and Thursdays, and
Lawson Hospital Friday nights.

HEBREW SCHOOL PUPILS
TO PUBLISH PAPER
Jerome Hirsh has been selected
as editor-in-chief of the student
newspaper of the A. A. Hebrew
School. On his staff are Billy Ep
stein, associate editor; Ronnie
Goldstein, advisory editor; Allan
Burnham, head reporter.
“Shelonu” is to be the news
paper title. It was the suggestion
of Herschel Abelson, whose entry
was selected by Mrs. Charles W.
Bergman and Mrs. Oscar Levine,
as judges.

The annual Chanukah Ball of
the Ahavath Achim Sisterhood will
be held Wednesday night, Decem
ber 11, at the Educational Center,

will continue until midnight, with

Temple Youth Group
To Plan for 1947
The Temple Youth Group will
meet Sunday, December 8, at 7:00
p.m. A spaghetti supper will be
served, to be followed by a busi
ness meeting.
A constitution for the organiza
tion will be discussed and also
several other important matters
concerning the future of . the or
ganization. Plans for the coming
year that will prove of much in
terest will also be disclosed.
