N. Suburban ORT
North Suburban ORT will
host its eighth annual Taster’s
Luncheon, Tuesday, Apr. 19, 11
a.m., at Beau Rivage Club
House, 245 Azalea Drive, in
Roswell. ,
The luncheon, which benefits
ORT’s Social Assistance
Program, will feature dishes
representative of ORT schools in
Israel, Venezuela, Switzerland,
India, Argentina, the United
States, Brazil, Iran, Uruguay,
France, Italy, and Morocco.
A cookbook of luncheon
recipes will be included in the
five dollar admission fee, which
should be sent by April 16 to
chairmen Mrs. Jane Simon, 340
Amherst Court, Atlanta 30328,
or to Mrs. Lynn Goldstein, 675
Serra Monte, Marietta 30067.

B’nai B’rrth
Tommy Nobis will be guest
speaker at the Atlanta Lodge
B’nai B’rith luncheon, Wednes
day, Apr. 20, at 11:45 a.m., at the
Progressive Club.
Nobis, a driving force behind
the development and success -of
the annual special Olympics for
the mentally handicapped, will
speak on the mental health
program.
Known as “Mr. Falcon,”
Number 60 of the Atlanta
Falcons, Nobis has retired from
professional football this year, 1
but will continue to serve the
Falcons in a front office capaci
ty.

Lenox Chapter ORT will meet
Tuesday, Apr. 19, at 12:30 p.m.
at the Atlanta Jewish Communi
ty Center.
The program featured will be
“ORT Children’; Their Future is
in Your Hands.”
Temple Sinai
Temple Sinai Women’s Com
mittee will sponsor “Sinai
Cabaret Night,” Saturday, April
23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Temple
Sinai Social Hall.
The program will feature an
evening with Sid Shier and Man-
dy Beason, “From Broadway to
You with Love.” There will be
wine, dinner, music and dancing
to Margaret Perrin Trio.
Chairpersons of the event are
Mrs. Joan Kaufmann at.'d Mrs.
Ann Schoenberg.
Wildwood Pines
Garden Club
A “Nostalgia” flower show,
spanning the 1890’s to the 1960’s,
will be held by the Wildwood
Pines Garden Club, Tuesday,
Apr. 19, at the home of Mrs.
Morris Capilouto, 884 Berkshire
Road.
Floral arrangements will be
judged in various catagories and
ribbons awarded for outstanding
exhibits.
Co-chairmen of the event are
Mrs. Bernard Freeman and Mrs.
Sidney Parks. All interested are
invited to attend.

The Cobb Branch of the
National Council of Jewish
Women will meet Monday, Apr.
18, at 8 p.m., at the Marietta
Federal Savings Bank in
Eastgate Shopping Center in
Marietta.
“The Magic Mesmerizing,
Technicolor Superseller T.V.
Trick Box,” a show concerning
the influence of television on
children, will be presented by
Atlanta authors Wicke
Chambers and Spring Asher.
