Mr. and Mrs. Milton Dubin of
Boca Raton, Fla., announce the
engagement of their daughter, Ellen
Hara, of Coral Gables, Fla., to Jef
frey Burt Ullman of Coral Gables,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ullman
of Savannah, Ga.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Ms. Yetta Alberts of
Linden, N.J., and the late Harry
Alberts, and the late Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Dubin of Elizabeth, N.J.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of the late Mrs. Chanka
Birnbaum Tenenbaum and the late
Samuel Birnbaum, and Mrs. Freda
Ullman and the late Sam Ullman
of Daytona Beach.
A graduate of Cranford High
School in Cranford, N.J., Ms.
Dubin received a bachelor of arts
degree in anthropology and a cer
tificate in Middle Eastern studies
from Pennsylvania State Univer
sity. She plans to attend Florida
International University for a mas
ter’s degree in international busi
ness.
Mr. Ullman, a graduate of Beach
High School, received a bachelor
of business administration degree
in marketing and a master’s degree
in business information systems
from Georgia State University. He
is employed by Coral Gables by
IBM.
A June wedding is planned at
Temple Emeth in Delray Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Jacobson
of Atlanta announce the engage
ment of their daughter, Nancy Carol,
to Wayne Richard Freedman, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Freedman
of Fresno, Calif.

Mr. Freedman is the grandson
of Mrs. Henry Kotzin of Albany,
N.Y. and the late David Sacks and
the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Freedman.
The bride-elect received a bache
lor of arts degree from the Univer
sity of Florida and a masters from
Oglethorpe. She is presently em
ployed by the Atlanta Jewish Fed
eration.

ated with highest distinction from
Northwestern University, where he
received a bachelor of science de
gree in communications and eco
nomics. He is the national sales
manager at WXIA-TV.

Robert and Ernie Dreyer of
Atlanta announce the engagement
of their daughter, Sherri Dreyer
Meyer, to Aron Charles Palefsky,
the son of Mrs. Ethel Meddin and
the late Abram Pete Palefsky of
Savannah.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Sylvia Chisen
and the late Mr. and Mrs. Simon
Froug of Atlanta.
She is the a graduate of Mercer
University with a B.A. degree in
history. She is employed by Pace
Academy as an administrative as
sistant to the principal and assist
ant gymnastics coach.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of Mrs. Bessie Cohen
and the late Louis Cohen and the
late Mr. and Mrs. Aron Palefsky
of Savannah. He is a graduate of
Oglethorpe University where he
received a B.S. degree in secondary
education and history. He is em
ployed by CFS Continental Foods
and for seven years has been the
AJCC All Star Basketball Team
coach.
The wedding is planned for July
6 at Ahavath Achim Synagogue in
Atlanta.

received a doctorate of law from
Emory University School of Law.
He was a member of Alpha Epsilon
Pi Fraternity. He is associated with

Atlanta.
