Emory theologians receive
Pauline Glenn scholarship
The Pauline Glenn Israel Scho
larship Fund of the Atlanta Jewish
Federation has awarded scholar
ships totaling $1,500 for study in
Israel during the summer of 1986.
Recipients of the scholarship,
Michael Lodahl and Bill Kostelec,
are both Theology graduate stu
dents at Emory University. They
will be using the grant to attend a
course in teaching the Holocaust,
being given by Yad Vashem this
summer. Both plan to incorporate
the knowledge they acquire in
courses they will teach at Emory
next fall and in their future careers
as Christian ministers.
The purpose of the Glenn Scho
larship is to encourage college level
students to continue their studies
in Israel and to broaden their cur
riculum by the inclusion of Israel-
oriented or Jewish studies. Scho
larships are awarded annually to
permanent Georgia residents.
